It's been almost a year to the day since I last updated. I just hadn't really had any motivation or incentive to keep this thing going. Anyway, I'm still very much into TV and writing about it and I even have a new gig writing for another website. You can catch my television reviews now at All the Shades of Grey. We cover mostly Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, but we also review returning shows and new shows, including FlashForward, Modern Family, The Vampire Diaries, Melrose Place, etc. We try to cover a show for everyone. - When movies stopped piquing my interest, I turned to the small screen as a better viewing pleasure. Just as I wouldn't waste $8-10 to see a movie I have absolutely no interest in seeing, I don't waste my free time watching television shows whose concepts don't appeal to me. I only watch a handful of shows, but I watch them faithfully every week. I will admit to a guilty pleasure or two (though I won't cop to show names), but those are mostly in the form of Reality TV. As a TV watcher, I gravitate toward dramas, though occasionally a comedy will come along and ravish me. They just don't make sitcoms like they used to... Game shows other than Jeopardy!, for the most part, are boring. And talent competition shows were a one-hit wonder that unfortunately caught on and remained past their prime.
GOOD TV MISSION STATEMENT
To take a stand for all quality television out there.
To take a stand against all rubbish shows that should never have made it to air.
To stand for all quality television show concepts that were passed up in favor of rubbish ones.
To convey the message that more than just sex "sells".
